ILTC is theonly educational institution in Russia and CIS countries, implementing Higher Education Programme on specialty 080506 “Logistics and Supply Chain Management” in accelerated period.

The programme of higher education in specialty 080506 “Logistics and Supply Chain Management” is basic programme of preparing skilled personnel, which provides system requirements to contemporary level of knowledge, skills and experience of logistician.

Educational programme of ILTC SU-HSE is worked out in accordance with:

• State educational standard of higher professional education in specialty 080506 “Logistics and Supply Chain Management”
• International practice of preparing logisticians in European universities

The beginning of study - from 2011

Form of education: extramural (2 week sessions 2-3 times a year)

At the end of studying are given:

• State SU-HSE diploma of higher education in specialty 080506 “Logistics and Supply Chain Management” with conferment qualification “logistician”
• After passing incomplete course of education ILTC certificate is given

The programme of higher education in specialty 080506 “Logistics and Supply Chain Management” provides preparation of personnel on three levels of contemporary company`s logistic management: top-managers, personnel of middle level and operational level.

Area of professional activity of contemporary logistician is already not only so well-known to everyone activities as, for example, transportation, forwarding, material handling, warehousing, customs registration, etc. Nowadays contemporary logisticians of various levels of hierarchy of company`s management (top-managers, coordinators of logistic process in procurement, distribution and production, analytics and functional managers) are engaged in problems, connected with choice and justification of company`s corporate strategy, appliance of contemporary logistic concepts and technologies, taking optimal management decisions in company`s functional areas of logistics, choice of information systems and software products, supporting logistics, modeling logistic business-processes and other important items of creating efficient logistic system of the company.

The basic task of logistician is to find optimal variants of taking decisions on managing material flows, connected information and finance to increase competitiveness of the company and increase of long-term efficiency of the company.

Integral nature of activity of logisticians and their wide knowledge, ability to take optimizing decisions in order to save material and financial resources, ability to coordinate work as inside the company, and with its contractors in business allow logisticians of wide qualification to advance successfully in career development. In many companies high-level logistic managers become presidents, vice-presidents and executive directors.

Logistician occupies hard, but perspective position in the company and mainly from his/her level of knowledge and qualification depends his/her career. :: Peculiarities of intramural form of studying

In connection with substantial interest, which representatives of business organizations from many Russian regions display towards intramural from of study on specialty 080506 “Logistics and Supply Chain Management”, ILTC by SU-HSE has begun since 2003 listeners selection to second higher education on logistics (intramural form of study).

Intramural form of study on specialty 080506 “Logistics and supply chain management” is intended basically for listeners from Russian cities and regions as well as Baltic and CIS countries, as well does not exclude educating personnel of Moscow and Moscow region companies, wishing to obtain exclusive education in new prestigious specialty.

In ILTC by SU-HSE is worked out educational plan of intramural form of studying in specialty 080506 “Logistics and Supply chain management” (second higher education). Duration of studying is 3 years (6 semesters), general hours quantity 3004, attendance hours – 504, which corresponds requirements of Ministry of education RF. All necessary methodical materials are prepared for the beginning of study on this form since February 2003: working discipline programs, handout materials, methodical recommendations to lecturers and listeners, control tasks, etc.

Listeners of intramural form of study come to ILTC twice a year to attendance classes and session (duration of stay in Moscow is 2 weeks). Agreement with range of hotels is attained on locating listeners, coming to Moscow, near with SU-HSE building at Kochnovsky proezd, 3.
