Brief release

International Center   for Training in Logistics in Higher School of Economics was founded on 21 April 2000. In the next five years ICTL has become the leading center of education of highly-skilled staff in logistics and Supply Chain management in and CIS countries. Nowadays the Center is conducting staff training in the variety of programmes (11 in total): from upgrading programmes to second higher education and MBA in new speciality 080506 «Logistics and Supply Chain Management». The majority of programmes, offered by ICTL, including all durable and elite educational programmes in logistics and SCM, are not implemented by any other educational structure in Russian and CIS.
At the beginning of 2006 approximately 1300 people have studied and are studying in ICTL – representatives of domestic and foreign companies, operating on Russian market. Perhaps there is no company in oil-gas-extracting industry, in ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, car manufacturing, engineering industry, telecommunications, large distributors and net retail operators as well as logistic companies, which staff has not studied in ICTL.
At present ICTL possesses the best faculty in logistics in . Experts in logistics and SCM of leading edge companies, large consulting and telecommunications companies take part in conducting classes. Computer classes of HSE ICTL are equipped by teaching versions of modern computer systems and computer software attachments of logistics and SCM: mySAP_SCM_APO, mySAP_Business Suite, Oracle Business Suite, Microsoft AXAPTA, Microsoft Navision, i2_SCM. Agreements are settled with such companies as Microsoft Business Solution, I2 CIS, IBM, Oracle, SAP AG, OC Rosneft, National Logistic Company, Soft Line, IDS Scheer, TOPsBI and others on joint promoting of training programmes and development of maintenance systems of taking decisions in logistics and supply chain management.
ICTL has become the member of European Logistics Association (ELA) since 2001. Leading foreign   experts and professors from universities, large educational centers and logistic companies of , , , , , Holland, are constantly attracted for durable and elite programmes.
HSE ICTL provides intense consulting services. During the last five years employees of the Center have fulfilled more than 40 logistic projects, including those on request of Ministry of Education of Russian Federation, Department of Science and Manufacturing Politics of Moscow Government, Association of economic cooperation of territories of Russian North-Western region as well as such large companies as OAO Gazprom, Russian Aluminium management, M Video, Parish Commune and many other.
The Center prepares and implements corporate programmes and seminars on logistics and SCM on company`s requests. Among unique services of ICTL are express-appraisal of company`s logistics, testing and personnel selection for logistic departments, European three stage certification of logisticians.
